Christian Christen graduated from the University of Zurich receiving his law degree in 1996. He gained his first professional experience at the District Court of Zurich and was admitted to the Zurich and all Swiss Bars in 1998. Between 1999 and 2001 he worked as an academic assistant of Prof. Dr. Peter Forstmoser, professor for civil, corporate and capital markets law at the University of Zurich. During that time he also obtained his doctor degree with honors from the University of Zurich with his thesis on investment fund law („Der Kollektivanlagevertrag [Art. 6 AFG]“, SSHW Vol. 217). Christian then worked as an associate in a Zurich law firm, before he acquired a master’s degree (LL.M.) in corporate and commercial law at the University of New South Wales/Sydney in 2003/2004. Until 2006 he gained further professional experience specifically in civil and commercial litigation in a Zurich area law firm. He is member of the Zurich and the Swiss Bar Association.

Christian joined Lutz Rechtsanwälte in 2007. His preferred areas of practice are corporate and commercial law, investment fund law, contract law, insolvency and bankruptcy law as well as civil and commercial litigation.
